Starfish Aquatics Club Inc. operates out of Drew University,
located in Madison, New Jersey. Starfish Aquatic Club provides a
variety of swimming instruction opportunities to accommodate every
individual. Our year round lesson program begins at a very basic
level and advances to teach the four competitive strokes. In addition,
our program can be modified to teach your child special skills that
are required by summer clubs.

- Rebecca Mitchell |
Rebecca
Mitchell is beginning her first year as the head Men's and Women's
Swimming Coach at Drew University. She takes over after two successful
years as the assistant. Becca had four extremely successfull years
in and out of the pool at Salisbury State University. She holds school
records in sixteen events, was her team MVP twice and qualified for
Nationals three times all while on the way to graduation summa cum
laude and garnering Academic All-American honors three times. Coach
Mitchell brings a lot of expreience to Starfish Aquatics with five
years coaching while she worked with over 90 swimmers of all ages
each summer. |

- Tamara Purwin |
| Tamara Purwin is taking on the task of managing
Starfish Aquatics this year. A senior at Drew University, she is majoring
in Behavioral Science. The last seven years Tamara has managed her
high school swim team and is now the Drew University swim team manager.
Tamara looks forward to working with both the parents and swimmers! |

| Owner - Maggie Bintz |
Maggie
Bintz, a former collegiate swimmer for the University of Delaware,
has been a swim lesson instructor for students of all ages for the
past 11 years. She has had experience coaching with USS, and YMCA
swim clubs. She is a Red Cross certified Lifeguard Training Instructor
and a Water Safety Instructor. Maggie has a masters degree in exercise
physiology, and is currently employed by the State University of New
York at Morrisville as the Head Swim Coach for both the men's and
women's varsity teams. |

Webmaster - Josh Smith
|
Josh
Smith, also a former swimmer and record holder from the University
of Delaware, has been involved with teaching swim lessons since the
late 1980's. Josh has coached at many different levels including USS
and summer league teams. Currently Josh is a fourth grade teacher
in the Cazenovia School District outside of Syracuse, NY. He has earned
a Masters in the Arts of Teaching, at Fairleigh Dickinson University
in Madison. |

Our instructors, many of whom are college students and varsity
swim team members, are certified lifeguards and Water Safety
instructors. More importantly, their knowledge and patience
will provide your child with a rewarding and fun swimming
experience. We have compiled a listing of our current instructors
